Quality awareness has always been a key element of our corporate culture. Based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, K+S KALI GmbH has established a Quality Management System which, among other objectives, guarantees continuous monitoring and improvement of our product and service quality.
Within K+S KALI GmbH, Quality Management is a leadership function throughout all levels of responsibility and includes each employee at his or her place of work. The basic principle is the prevention of problems rather than retrospective cures.
The production of our fertilisers is subject to constant national and international controls, among other authorities by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) or the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
Parts of our product range are approved for application in organic farming, in accordance with EEC-regulation 2092/91 and EC-regulation 1073/2000. The correspondent certificates of the Soil Association (UK), i.e. the BCS, are available.
Al products within the “Fertiliser“ product division are subject to comprehensive quality assurance system safeguards and compliance with the requirements included in international regulations and guidelines, such as European Regulation EC No. 2003/2003. Product analysis and monitoring is conducted on site in company owned laboratories, as well as by online measurement throughout production and loading processes. These on site laboratories are supported by one central accredited laboratory. However, all of them are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and process controls.
