The IPI closely cooperates with international and national research institutions, consultants or agricultural associations. In this region, which plays an important role in the discussion on world food shortages, the application of mineral fertilisers is still exceedingly low. For the IPI, Olivier Goujard will establish cooperative partnerships with research institutions in West and in East Africa. In Mozambique, the IPI is already involved in an international project for the improvement of maize-cultivation.
Olivier Goujard began his professional career as an agricultural engineer working for international companies, in the field of plant protection. At K+S KALI France, Goujard has since 2005 been responsible for agronomic consultation in France. This year, as a member of the international agronomists’ team of K+S KALI GmbH. he has also taken on processing questions relating to the African regions.
