K+S KALI France Present at Trade Fair – Record Number of Visitors at “Les Culturales“ 2015
Every two years, Arvalis, a French plant cultivation institute, stages the specialist agricultural exhibition Les Culturales north of Paris. On the two days of the trade fair (June 24 through June 25, 2015), over 200 exhibitors invited visitors to learn about trends in agriculture, agricultural technology, innovations and optimal fertilization. With a record over 15,000 visitors, this year’s exhibition at Villers Saint Christophe exceeded all expectations.
In addition to an extensive display of plants with nutrient deficiencies to show what symptoms are like, a water feature was used to present Justus von Liebig’s “Law of the Minimum.” The water tub with staves varying in height was an excellent conversation starter at the K+S KALI France information stand. This made it possible to show that the development of a plant is resource dependent, that is, dependent on the so-called minimum factor. If, for example, soil contains an insufficient amount of potassium, a plant cannot achieve optimal yields. You can find out more on our website at:
