K+S at “British Potato 2009” Stand 167
The 25-26th November once again sees the return of the ever popular biannual “British Potato” event in Harrogate. K+S UK & Eire Ltd are delighted to be present on stand to welcome discussions around the subject of crop nutrition for achieving not only higher yields but also for managing specific quality traits.
If the European harvest in 2009 will be remembered for anything it will be recorded as a year of poor quality potatoes. In many countries, including the UK, a combination of a dry late summer / autumn period together with inadequate available potash led to many problems including excessive dry matter concentrations, bruising, and incidence of blackspot.
Visit our stand to learn about the importance of magnesium for the crop, to discuss the results from UK field trials and to talk with specialist agronomists about the effects of different forms of both K and Mg fertilisers on aspects of crop quality.
Also available will be our nutrient deficiency pocketbooks and the all of the latest news and developments available with some useful tips and guidelines on how to get the best from your fertiliser for this hungry crop.
See you there!
