Sulphur deficiency (S)

Lack of sulphur will result in yellowing of the leaves, which will first appear on younger leaves (contrary to the symptoms of nitrogen deficiency). The general development of the plant will be impaired.

Treatment: Lack of sulphur may be prevented by soil applications of sulphur based fertilisers such as potassium sulphate KALISOP® or magnesium sulphate ESTA® Kieserit, Patentkali® or by applying organic fertilisers. Foliar application of Epsom salt (EPSO Top®) may help to balance temporary and acute deficiencies during peak demand.
