Magnesium content of farm-grown basic feed may vary greatly, depending on origin and plant composition. Particularly in young, non-variegated grass pastures, magnesium content may be very low.
Raised physical and psychological demands on the animal also raise its magnesium requirement. Magnesium is therefore also used to calm nervous animals. Particularly race horses exhibit an increased magnesium requirement.
Magnesium-rich KaSa Mag may therefore be used as a high-grade magnesium component in the feeding of breeding and saddle horses. KaSa Mag contains sulphatic magnesium, which is more easily absorbed than magnesium oxide (MgO) and, in comparison to magnesium chloride (MgCl2), represents less risk of cauterising stomach and intestinal mucosa. KaSa Mag is available with 98% and 49% magnesium. |
