K+S KALI GmbH Cancels Membership of the International Potash Institute (IPI)

K+S KALI GmbH has cancelled its membership of the International Potash Institute after close to 60 years. In accordance with the institute’s statutes, the membership will end on 31 December 2011.

“Cooperation with the International Potash Institute no longer satisfies our greater requirements with respect to international advisory work,” says Dr. Ernst Andres, Managing Director K+S KALI GmbH.

That is why K+S KALI GmbH effected a change of focus at the beginning of the year through the formation of the Institute of Applied Plant Nutrition (IAPN) and its international integration. In addition, membership of the International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) will be stepped up significantly once again. K+S KALI GmbH will therefore be well equipped to meet the challenges that lie ahead.
