K+S KALI GmbH extracts potash and magnesium crude salts from its mines in Germany. It is one of the world’s largest potash producers.
More than half of the products produced from the crude salts are exported. The unique range of speciality fertilisers is currently sold across six continents and in 97 countries. Deliveries to customers are organised not only by rail and inland waterways, but also by sea, in containers and on trucks. Wherever possible, K+S KALI GmbH is shifting the transportation methods to rail and inland waterways, which are more environmentally friendly.
In addition to the majority of European countries, K+S KALI GmbH is also represented in the biggest international markets with its own distribution sites. This includes Brazil, China, India, the USA and South Africa. A distribution company based in Singapore looks after the markets in South East Asia and Oceania.
