High-Performance Mineral Magnesium – It’s Relevance to the Human Body

Magnesium is primarily present in the bones and in connective tissue. This vital mineral is necessary for a range of functions, and is indispensable for a great number of metabolic processes.

Magnesium influences the transmission of stimuli from nerves to muscles, and plays an important role in bone construction and in the nervous system. Magnesium also directly affects a total of more than 300 enzymes, thereby influencing cell formation, oxygen utilisation and energy generation of the body.

As the body is not capable of creating this vital mineral by itself, it is necessary to provide an ample supply in our daily diet. A sufficient supply is therefore of the utmost importance, in order to prevent a number of diseases or health problems.
